About

Chicago, aka The Windy City, is a city of revival and change. Nearly 150 years ago the city was decimated by the Great Fire of 1871. Like a phoenix, the city rose from the ashes and was rebuilt greater than it was before. Just 20 years later, Chicago was host to the 1893 World's Fair, earning the nickname the White City, due to the extensive use of white stucco in the new construction and the extensive use of street lights. Just as it always has been Chicago, today, is one of the great melting pots in America. A city where many different cultures and people come together in a vibrant and completely unique mix.
